Warfarin ClinicsWarfarin blood tests are done everyday except Friday afternoons after 12pm. Patients are requested to call the surgery for the result of their warfarin blood test. It is important to make an appointment for this clinic at least 3 days in advance. Family Planning and ContraceptionAll doctors working in the surgery are able to provide contraceptive advice. This will include advice on the various types, and suitability. In addition we are able to insert the Implanon contraceptive implant (lasts 3 years), the Mirena Intra Uterine System (lasts 5 years) and the Copper Intra Uterine Device (by appointment only). Men may wish to consider vasectomy as an effective safe form of contraception Health AssessmentsWe offer a wide range of health assessments and while each one caters for different needs, all are provided on the principle that early detection of illness can mean easier management of the problem and more successful treatment. |
