Flu Vaccinations for the over 65s and High-risk patients under 65 will be made available at DCHC over the coming weeks. Patients in these categories can contact reception to book an appointment to have their Flu vaccination. A list of eligible ‘High Risk’ patients can be found here.
Over 80 patients will be contacted separately from the 4th October 2021 and booked into a dedicated Flu and Covid 19 Booster clinic in Delvin. All patients will be given a single Pfizer booster, regardless of which vaccination was given prior to this. Patients in this group can only receive the booster if they are 6 months post their 2nd Covid vaccination.
Telephone lines are likely to be very busy between the hours of 0900 and 1100 every weekday, therefore, where possible patients requesting a flu vaccination appointment can use the website appointment request form or email us at info@dchc.ie. Please note that clinics appointment availability are dependent on vaccine deliveries from the HSE which change at very short notice. Appointments for Flu and COVID vaccinations are for this purpose only and other issues should have separate appointments booked.
